Pseudobombax septenatum

The garden has a delightful grove of the potbelly or potbellied Ceibo ( Pseudobombax septenatum ) a tree of the subfamily Bombacoideae, closely related to the ceibas ( Bombax spp.); It is native to the New World, with a distribution from Nicaragua to Venezuela and Colombia.
